Two full weeks — the traditional minimum for a truly complete Panchakarma. All five classical treatments administered in full sequence. Preparation, deep cleansing, and rejuvenation each receive the time they truly require. This is where lasting transformation begins.
Fourteen days is the threshold where Panchakarma becomes genuinely complete. Ancient Ayurvedic texts traditionally prescribe a minimum of two weeks for very good reason — only with this duration can all five primary treatments be administered in full sequence, with each phase receiving the time it requires to work at depth.
In the first week, the preparatory phase (Purva Karma) is given full expression — internal oleation, Snehapana, and progressive Swedana work in harmony to mobilise toxins from deep tissue. By the second week, your doctor prescribes and administers the primary eliminative therapies (Pradhana Karma) targeted precisely to your dosha and condition, followed by a meaningful rejuvenation phase.
Guests who choose 14 days consistently report the deepest physical and emotional shifts — weight normalisation, freedom from chronic pain, restored sleep and a mental clarity that simply isn't achievable in a shorter programme.

Every additional day of Panchakarma compounds the benefit. Here is the honest comparison.
With two weeks, every stage of classical Panchakarma receives its full natural proportion — the way ancient texts intended.
Four full days of internal and external oleation, Snehapana (medicated ghee therapy) and progressive Swedana steam treatments. Toxins are systematically loosened from tissues and directed toward the digestive channels for elimination.
Seven days of intensive, doctor-prescribed treatments: Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Basti sequences, Virechana purgation and Nasya nasal therapy — each chosen for your specific constitution and condition. The heart of classical Panchakarma.
Three dedicated days of Rasayana (cellular nourishment) and restorative therapies including Abhyanga and Shirodhara, alongside a carefully graduated dietary reintroduction protocol. The system is properly stabilised after intense cleansing.
Every day is guided by your doctor's evolving assessment. Nothing is fixed or formulaic — this is a general overview of the progression.
Full Prakriti and Vikriti assessment by your BAMS doctor. Initial Abhyanga and mild Swedana begin the preparation. Personalised dietary protocol established.
Medicated clarified ghee in progressive doses deeply lubricates the internal channels, binding to fat-soluble toxins. Unique to 14-day programmes and above.
Full-body Abhyanga followed by deep herbal steam therapy. Toxins mobilised in earlier days now move rapidly through channels toward the digestive tract.
A gentler day for consolidation. Light Abhyanga, extended meditation, doctor review and recalibration of your remaining treatment plan.
Medicated purgation under full doctor supervision to eliminate accumulated toxins from the liver and small intestine. One of the most transformative days of the entire programme.
Anuvasana (oil basti) and Niruha (herbal decoction basti) in sequence to cleanse the colon and address deep-seated Vata disorders. The most important of all Panchakarma treatments.
Rejuvenating therapies — Abhyanga, Shirodhara and Ksheeradhara — alongside Rasayana herbs begin deep nourishment and rebuilding. Energy, clarity and ease return noticeably.
Final doctor consultation. Personalised post-programme diet, lifestyle and medicine recommendations in a written report. A meaningful closing session with the teaching team.

The 14-day retreat includes all five primary Panchakarma treatments — each administered in full under doctor supervision.
A 14-day programme is the recommended minimum for guests managing the following health situations.
Chronic joint inflammation responds profoundly to the full Basti sequence, which directly addresses the Vata pathology underlying most forms of arthritis and spondylitis.
Nervous system exhaustion requires more than a week to genuinely unwind. The extended Shirodhara and Yoga Nidra protocol in Week 2 achieves what shorter programmes cannot.
Diabetes management, thyroid imbalances and high cholesterol respond to liver-cleansing Virechana and full metabolic reset — achievable only in a 14+ day programme.
IBS and chronic digestive disorders require the full Basti Krama sequence to address the colon comprehensively — this cannot be abbreviated without losing clinical efficacy.
Significant metabolic imbalance requires Virechana, Basti and full dietary rehabilitation over 14 days to durably reset Agni (digestive fire).
Hormone regulation responds to the combined effect of Virechana, Basti and Rasayana over two full weeks — a process too complex to compress into seven days.
Psoriasis, eczema and persistent acne reflect deep internal Pitta and Ama imbalances that require Virechana and sustained blood-purifying treatment.
Deeply entrenched sleep disorders respond to the full programme's combination of Shirodhara, Basti and Rasayana therapies across both weeks.
