The most complete yoga programme Vedanjana offers — a genuine two-week immersion designed for serious practitioners, aspiring yoga teachers and those seeking lasting transformation. Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Kundalini awakening, advanced pranayama, Bhagavad Gita study, Ayurvedic consultation and a sacred Ganges pilgrimage — all across fourteen transformative days in Rishikesh.
The 14-Day Yoga & Meditation Retreat at Vedanjana is the deepest programme we offer — a true two-week immersion that goes far beyond physical postures into the heart of what yoga actually is. Designed for those who are serious about their practice, this programme brings together six distinct yoga disciplines, in-depth philosophy, Ayurvedic wisdom and the sacred environment of Rishikesh into one continuous arc of transformation.
Across fourteen days, you will move through Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Kundalini awakening practices, advanced pranayama, Yoga Nidra and Ashtanga Vinyasa — each discipline opening something different in the body, breath and mind. Philosophy sessions go deep into the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. An Ayurvedic constitutional consultation reveals your individual prakriti and how to align your practice accordingly. A half-day Ganges pilgrimage grounds everything in direct lived experience.
Many guests arrive having practised yoga for years and leave feeling, for the first time, that they truly understand it. The 14-day programme is also widely used as preparation for 200-hour yoga teacher training — and as a path back to oneself for those who have drifted far from their centre.
Reserve Your PlaceThe 14-day immersion is the ideal preparation for a 200-hour teacher training. You will arrive at your training grounded in philosophy, anatomy, pranayama and a diverse asana vocabulary that most teacher trainees spend their first weeks acquiring.
If you have been practising for several years and feel you have reached the limits of what studio classes can offer, this programme opens the deeper layers — Yin yoga, Kundalini awakening, Bhagavad Gita and Ayurvedic personalisation of your practice.
Some guests come not to improve a practice but to find one — or to rediscover something lost. Fourteen days of structured immersion, sattvic living and the sacred geography of Rishikesh creates the conditions for genuine inner transformation.
Executives and professionals on sabbatical, career transitions or extended leave find the 14-day programme genuinely life-altering. It is long enough to fully decompress, rebuild from the inside, and return with clarity about what matters.
Many international guests travel specifically to Rishikesh for a two-week yoga immersion — from the UK, Europe, Australia, UAE and the Americas. The 14-day programme gives full value to a long-haul journey and leaves nothing half-explored.
Fourteen days of shared practice, philosophy, pilgrimage and sattvic living creates a bond that cannot be manufactured anywhere else. Many couples describe it as the single most meaningful experience they have had together.
The 14-day retreat is structured in four progressive phases — each one building on the last. Rather than repeating the same content across two weeks, the programme deepens systematically, opening new dimensions of practice as the body and mind settle into the rhythm of retreat.
The first three days are designed to settle you into Rishikesh, the retreat rhythm and your own body. Physical intensity is moderate — the emphasis is on releasing accumulated tension, establishing pranayama foundations and opening the philosophy thread.
From Day 4, the physical practice intensifies. Ashtanga Vinyasa is introduced, Yin yoga begins its deep tissue work, and philosophy sessions move into the Bhagavad Gita. The nervous system starts to genuinely reset.
The midpoint of the retreat is where the deepest work happens. Kundalini awakening practices are introduced, Yoga Nidra opens the pratyahara dimension, and philosophy reaches the heart of the Gita's teaching on action and surrender.
The final phase is about integration — bringing the threads of the two weeks together into a coherent understanding and practice that will travel home with you. The pace is reflective, the sessions deeply personal.
Six yoga disciplines, three philosophy traditions and an Ayurvedic personalisation thread — the most comprehensive curriculum Vedanjana offers, taught by experienced resident teachers.
The same Vedanjana teachers. The same Hatha yoga and meditation curriculum. Live, interactive sessions you can join from anywhere in the world — before, during or after your retreat.
The 14-day schedule evolves across the two weeks — each phase introduces new elements. The structure below reflects the settled daily rhythm from Day 4 onwards, once the full programme is running. Days 1–3 follow a gentler arrival schedule.

Seven days begins to undo chronic stress patterns. Fourteen days completes it. By the second week, the nervous system has fully shifted into parasympathetic dominance — guests describe sleeping deeper, thinking clearer and feeling emotions more cleanly than they have in years.
Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, Kundalini, Yoga Nidra and advanced pranayama — most practitioners spend years encountering these separately. Fourteen days at Vedanjana integrates them into a single coherent understanding of yoga as a complete system.
Guests who complete the 14-day programme consistently report arriving at their 200-hour teacher trainings far more prepared than their peers. The philosophy depth, anatomy grounding and diverse practice vocabulary provided here is exactly what TT programmes build from.
